Neutrient Multi + – Advanced Formula Combining Essential Vitamins and Minerals

Taking Your Health to the Next Level

Maintaining a varied, nutrient-rich diet isn't always straightforward. Between demanding schedules, food processing methods, and the natural variations in fresh produce, even those with the best intentions can find gaps appearing in their nutritional intake. Neutrient Multi +  is a high-quality, comprehensive multivitamin and mineral supplement formulated to support adults navigating the demands of contemporary life.

Neutrient Multi

https://abundanceandhealth.co.uk/products/neutrient-multi

Developed by Abundance & Health, this advanced formula combines essential vitamins and minerals in carefully selected forms chosen for their bioavailability, allowing the body to readily absorb and use them. The result is a supplement designed to support several key areas that matter in daily life: energy levels, immune function, mental clarity and overall cellular health.

Active Forms That Work With Your Body

A standout feature of Neutrient Multi + is its use of active B vitamins. Rather than requiring the body to convert them first, these nutrients arrive ready to use. The formula includes folate as 5-MTHF, vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin and riboflavin-5-phosphate. These body-ready forms contribute to normal energy metabolism, psychological function and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, particularly valuable during demanding periods.

Minerals are provided as gentle chelates, chosen for both absorption and digestive comfort. Zinc and iron bisglycinate support immune and cognitive function, while magnesium citrate contributes to normal muscle and nervous system function and energy metabolism. Together, these nutrients provide comprehensive daily support that works harmoniously with the body's natural processes.

Beyond covering the essentials, Neutrient Multi + distinguishes itself by incorporating PQQ and Myo-inositol -two innovative ingredients at the forefront of research into cellular metabolism. This specialised duo works alongside intentional pairings, such as vitamin D3 with vitamin K2 for bone health, and vitamin E with Selenium to protect cells from oxidative stress.

Who is Neutrient Multi + Designed For?

Neutrient Multi + is ideal for adults whose daily routines place consistent demands on their bodies and minds, including busy professionals, parents, students and shift workers, where fatigue and inconsistent eating patterns are common.

Active individuals and athletes will find support through nutrients that contribute to normal muscle function, red blood cell formation and oxygen transport.

The formula is particularly well-suited to those following plant-based diets, as it provides reliable amounts of vitamin B12, iron and zinc in highly bioavailable forms.

Women at all life stages may appreciate the inclusion of vitamin B6 and magnesium, which help regulate hormonal activity and nervous system function, respectively. Other key B vitamins contribute to energy metabolism, providing support for both mental and physical well-being.

Taken daily with food, Neutrient Multi + from Abundance & Health provides reliable and consistent nutritional coverage, designed to support overall vitality every day.

Stretching Anatomy – Your illustrated guide to improving flexibility and mobility

by Arnold G. Nelson, Jouko Kokkonen and Tyler Farney.

Published by Human Kinetics. 2026. Paperback/Spiral-Bound. £15.99/£26.15.  ISBN: 9781718245617.  https://www.human-kinetics.co.uk/9781718245617/stretching-anatomy/

Types of Stretching

This is an excerpt from Stretching Anatomy 4E by Arnold G. Nelson, Jouko Kokkonen and Tyler Farney. Stretching has come to mean different things to different people, and when doing a simple Internet search, one can discover many stretching techniques. Notwithstanding the various types of stretching promoted by different organizations, there are four basic types of stretches: ballistic, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), static, and dynamic.

Cover Stretching Anatomy

https://www.human-kinetics.co.uk/9781718245617/stretching-anatomy/

Ballistic Stretching

Ballistic stretches use bouncing movements and do not involve holding the stretch for any length of time. Ballistic stretching can increase range of motion quickly by using the body weight or momentum from each bounce to extend the muscles past their normal range of motion. Because ballistic stretching can activate the stretch reflex, many people have postulated that ballistic stretching has a greater potential to cause muscle or tendon damage, especially in the tightest muscles.

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching

Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching refers to a technique that more fully incorporates the actions of the proprioceptors. It involves passive stretching combined with isometric muscle contraction either throughout the joint’s range of motion or at the end of the range of motion. After moving through the complete range of motion, the muscle is relaxed and rested before it is stretched again. Contracting a fully stretched muscle against resistance relaxes the myotatic reflex and allows a stretch greater than normal.

Static Stretching

Static stretching is the most commonly used technique. For most individuals, it is the easiest to perform, and it can be done passively or actively. In static stretching, you extend a particular muscle or group of muscles until you feel increased tension or slight discomfort and hold the position 15 to 60 seconds. This allows the muscles, fascia, ligaments, and tendons to gradually lengthen, but it can decrease the ability of the nerves to activate the muscle properly. The lengthening of the muscle and joint’s connective tissue and the lengthening of the muscle sarcomeres result in a loss of muscle tension, and this coupled with decreased excitability can lead to reduced muscle performance.

Dynamic Stretching

Dynamic stretching is a more functionally oriented stretch that uses sport-specific actions to move limbs through a slightly greater range of motion. Dynamic stretching is characterized by swinging, jumping, or other exaggerated movements in which the momentum of the movement carries the limbs up to or slightly past the regular limits of the range of motion. The movements are held for less than 3 seconds. Because the stretch is held for a short time, the muscle is able to lengthen without a reduction in muscle tension or muscle excitability. The proper activation of the proprioceptors coupled with the maintenance of muscle tension enables the nerves that activate the muscle cells to fire more quickly, enabling the muscle to make faster contractions.

Vivienne Bradshaw-Black – Tribute Obituary – 14th August 1947 - 24th November 2024

Vivienne Bradshaw-Black Cert Ed, sadly passed away from sepsis on 24 November 2024. She had been an Expert Regular Columnist with Positive Health PH Online almost from the beginning; Her first article Mercury Poisoning from Amalgam Fillings appeared in Positive Health Issue 8 Oct 1995. Much of what she said 30 years ago very much relevant today.

“The controversy over amalgam fillings started with their use and is, after a century, now drawing to a slow conclusion with the gradual recognition of amalgam poisoning and slow withdrawal of amalgam fillings from dentistry. Britain does not lead the way in this controversy just as it does not in the fluoride controversy and other such issues. We often lag behind other countries, defended to the hilt, entrenched in old attitudes, beliefs and systems. (May God bless Britain with men of foresight and uprightness.)”

Vivienne Bradshaw-Black

https://www.positivehealth.com/author/vivienne-bradshaw-black/vivienne-bradshaw-black

Vivienne had been a multidiscipline practitioner for many years and trained in kinesiology (including TFH Touch for Health and Association Systematic Kinesiology), emotional stress release (Topping), Vega, homeopathy and herbalism courses, nutrition, lymphatic drainage massage, cymatics (the study of wave phenomena, especially sound, and their visual representations), anatomy & physiology, Biblically based counselling, and odds and ends like intravenous cannulation, hypnosis theory.  Most of these carried certificates but didn’t always confer qualifications.

Vivienne modified and added to much of the information she gathered in training courses; on the nutrition and general health front, she was not happy with much taught so she created her own course, Informed Choice Health Course (ICHC), which covered the difference between the sickness industry and health, the basics for health and individually relevant building blocks to place on the generally applicable foundation.  The course was based on four fundamental health laws; she believed that the understanding of what causes health and what causes sickness can cut through the maze of confusion which dominates the sickness industry. Her desire was to teach this to those who choose health and offer contacts and support to individuals and groups taking responsibility for their own health choices.

A few of her core interests were the Bible, health on all three levels (body, mind, spirit), law, writing, teaching/learning/education, politics, understanding human nature, along with general interests such as sewing, knowledge of different places/cultures etc. and understanding core issues. She enjoyed the satisfaction of being able to teach/assist others with health problems but at the same time being a compulsive learner she also seemed to learn much about things she would not necessarily have thought would be interesting.

Vivienne’s Expert Columns were always highly original and insightful, such as the article in Issue 265 – Are You More Than You See in the Mirror. They did not necessarily follow a set template and were widely referenced and included mention of Spirit, Soul and Body.

A Beginner’s Guide to ME-CFS – This Advice Applies Directly to Long Covid

How can a book published in 2014, long before we’d ever heard of Covid, help to prevent the public health problem which currently threatens to overwhelm not just health systems, but economic systems, worldwide?

Short Feature Image 311 from 305 Nancy Blake + A Beginners Guide to ME-CFS

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Beginners-Guide-ME-CFS-Guides/dp/0957181744

A Beginner’s Guide to ME/CFS focuses on the importance of rest, and the dangers of exercise to people suffering the illness (or illnesses) included within these labels.  Rest?  Just rest?  Isn’t that just giving up?  Shouldn’t we be fighting it?

Our body, like that of every living creature, inhabits a world of predators, some external, but most living complex lives within – bacteria, fungi, viruses; and our body has developed many, extremely complex ways of counteracting these.  This includes ways of identifying and developing defences against ones not previously encountered.  But these processes require energy.

The term for the entirety of these incredibly complex processes is the ‘immune system’.

Medicine does not, in itself, cure illnesses.  It can only help the immune system do so, in a variety of ways.  Vaccines help speed up and enhance the immune system’s ability to identify and produce cells to attack aspects of a virus’s functioning.  Specific drugs can kill specific pathogens.  Many drugs simply suppress symptoms caused by the immune system’s attack on an invading pathogen, often having the effect of prolonging the illness itself.

The rapidly evolving virus which continues to cause successive waves of Covid is extremely complex in its nature, and its effects on a range of organ systems.

We now know that this includes the ability to cause a chronic, disabling illness, virtually indistinguishable from ME/CFS,[1] and that the numbers of those affected already runs into the millions, and that these numbers are already having a noticeable effect on a diminishing workforce.

Resting, as completely as possible, as soon as possible from the inception of any illness, but especially from a potentially disabling one, is the opposite of ‘giving in’.

Your immune system, encountering this new threat, needs all your physical energy to be available in its battle to save you,  There’s even a part of your brain that tells you to crawl into a warm, safe space, and do nothing – while your immune system does its work.

Those who tell you to fight this feeling, get up, carry on, don’t give in, completely misunderstand your situation.

It’s your immune system that’s doing the fighting!

Making such misguided physical efforts, which are advised in too many Long Covid rehabilitation centres, could cripple your immune system’s ability to overcome what is making you ill – and condemn you to the life of disability which many Long Covid sufferers are now experiencing.

The advice in A Beginner’s Guide to ME/CFS applies directly to today’s new challenge, Long Covid, and needs to be as widespread as possible.

Ultimate Stress Relief Cream

Emotions affect the body. Modern lifestyles are proving that there is a new danger that lurks within each and every one of us...STRESS!

This invisible force is the cause of 90% of all illness. People tend to take better care of their cars than they do of their bodies, hence dis-ease and then pain/illness occur. Prevention is obviously the aim but we can heal  from anything  once we address our 4 bodies. Think ‘Russian Nesting dolls our energy fields are in layers around us.

  • Physical
  • Emotional
  • Mental
  • Spiritual

Our body can heal from anything naturally!  Body, mind and spirit can be balanced easily so that our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies balance restore the toric electro-magnetic  field that surrounds us and allows us to relax and heal naturally.

Fear is a fundamental emotion common to us all. The adrenal glands produce adrenaline which switches on the “fight/flight” mechanism of our bodies. This is where adrenaline is produced, in the adrenal glands look like walnuts atop each kidney. This system of fight/flight brings the energy/blood of the body from the digestive system to the sensory organs: eyes (vision), ears (sounds), nose (smell), mouth (taste), and the nervous and muscular systems so that we become almost superhuman in our abilities, to be incredibly strong and jump higher, run faster etc. Our muscles and senses become fully empowered.

It is important to remember however, that balance is the key. If we are always stressed or in “fight/flight” mode then we can develop adverse digestive and tummy disorders over time ie ulcers, hiatus hernia, diverticulitis, digestive issues and so on.

These things also provide highly effective and speedy relief for many long-term complaints. You will be amazed at how good you can feel , and how  easily and  effectively  you can maintain good health!

Sometimes you just want a quick fix, so Sarah at Organic aromatherapy has formulated a magical cream   that works within a couple of minutes .   Ultimate Stress Relief Cream  is influenced by some gorgeous and powerful organic essential oils ( neroli, helychrysum, sweet orange, roman chamomile and geranium) infused together in a peace-filled sacred space, made by hand with love and wrapped in a vegan pure white cream. Sayer Complementary Health – Homeopathy Differs from Conventional Medicine

Why is homeopathy so different from conventional medicine –- this is often the topic of conversation when a new client seeks homeopathic treatment.

A consultation with a homeopath allows the patient time to explore many problems that they may be experiencing and in so doing a number of issues that may seem insignificant can highlight to the homeopath, what we have already been trained in, that the mental symptoms can produce physical symptoms and this therefore allows us to select the most appropriate remedy.   The client at the end of the consultation tells us that they feel ‘heard’ and appreciate the time we have allocated them.   By comparison a general practitioner has a narrow window of time that they can spend with their patient and often things may be left unsaid.

Sayer 311 Photo + Homeopathic Remedies

https://www.homeopathinessex.co.uk/homeopathy

Take grief for example, I have seen many cases where the initial grief appears to be resolved but the patient continually clears their throat but it is not due to a cold or catarrh. The well selected homeopathic remedy will help this person in more ways than one.

At Sayer Complementary Health I offer an on-line course Homeopathy at Home that is designed to advise you how to use homeopathic remedies for a range of ailments, coughs, colds, headaches, exam nerves, etc. Young babies respond very well to homeopathic remedies for teething and colic and even sluggish bowel movements. Starting with a brief introduction of homeopathy, it covers a number of homeopathic remedies along with pointers to the remedies and how to differentiate between remedies that, at first glance, appear to be very similar.

Instructions on how to give/take the remedies are included along with how often they should be repeated.  Homeopathic remedies are non-toxic, non-addictive and safe for all ages, unlike some over-the-counter medications where you may be advised not to operate machinery or drive due to the possibility of becoming drowsy. Homeopathic remedies can be purchased from local health stores.

If, after completing the Homeopathy at Home course you feel that you would like to develop your knowledge further and build a career as a homeopath, the Homeopathic Practitioner Diploma course offers you an in-depth apprenticeship style study course spread over three years.  This course further explores the philosophy of homeopathy, differentiating between acute and chronic cases and preparing case studies.  You will be required to put aside time for self-study and written assignments.

I am also a nutritional practitioner and work with clients who want to take control of their gut problems using both homeopathy and nutrition. Using both disciplines I enjoy working with people and seeing their health improve and the longer-term benefits of staying healthy.

In mainstream health care, the word medicine connotes fear, dependence, and anxiety. But the most healing medicines are natural wellsprings of energy and life force – freely available to all. Engineers and cancer scientists from the University of Glasgow are behind the development of the device, which uses wirelessly-powered micro-LEDs to boost the delivery of light through tissue-mimicking models in the lab. The platform, developed by a team led by Professor David Flynn, is a first step towards a more precise, affordable and comfortable application of photodynamic therapy to treat bladder cancers in the years ahead. Photodynamic therapy works by using light-sensitive drugs called photosensitisers to selectively destroy cancer cells. It is commonly used in the treatment of skin cancer, but its effectiveness is currently constrained by the physical properties of the human body’s tissues. Tissue tends to absorb light, making it more challenging for doctors to reach some types of tumours growing deeper in the body in organs like the bladder.

Further Information: Researchers from Edinburgh Instruments Ltd also contributed to the research and co-authored the paper. The team’s paper, titled ‘A Flexible Wireless System for Prospective Photodynamic Therapy Applications’, is published in the journal Opto-Electronic Advances. The research was supported by funding from UKRI’s Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC. The Nicholas Gonzalez Foundation  – He Was Told He Had Months to Live. He Became a 30-Year Melanoma  Survivor.

Most melanoma patients are taught to focus on one thing: the diagnosis. But this episode asks a different question: What happens after the diagnosis?  In the newest episode of Your Way Back, I share the story of Sir Roger Norrington – a world-famous orchestra conductor diagnosed with melanoma and given only months to live. Only to die peacefully, 30 years later, at the age of 91. Instead of collapsing into fear and chaos…he built structure. Daily discipline. Consistency. Routine. An individualized Gonzalez protocol program based on his metabolic type. And over time, his outcome did not follow the expected path. Sir Roger continued conducting orchestras around the world for decades. Not because he “thought positive". Not because he ignored reality. Because he responded differently. This episode is not about guarantees. It’s about the critical difference between what we cannot control…and what we still can. If you or someone you love is facing cancer, this may be one of the most important conversations we’ve had so far.

Could a Unified Theory of Health Solve Our Health Care Crisis?

What if we had a common language and approach to look at what’s needed to maintain or build health? Might this help turn around the largely preventable chronic and degenerative disease epidemic that threatens to break our health systems? ANH founder, Rob Verkerk, Ph.D., lays out his thoughts on a ‘unified theory of health’ Natural health is not “alternative” medicine– it is the foundational framework that supports resilience, energy production, immune balance, and long-term wellbeing in an increasingly toxic and stressful world.   From ultra-processed food and chronic stress to environmental toxins and sedentary lifestyles, modern living creates evolutionary mismatches that mainstream medicine is poorly equipped to address.  ANH’s proposed “unified theory of health” identifies four core biological factors that determine whether the body moves toward repair and vitality – or inflammation, degeneration, and chronic disease.

ER Visits For Neurological Conditions Increase During Stormy Weather

Emergency room (ER) visits for conditions such as stroke or brain haemorrhage increase on days with more unstable and stormy weather conditions, finds new study involving Corvinus University of Budapest researcher. These were days typically characterised by increased precipitation, strong winds, and fluctuating weather patterns. Brigitta Szilágyi, Associate Professor from Corvinus University and Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), alongside researchers from BME, Semmelweis University, and Jahn Ferenc South-Pest Hospital and Clinic, explored the correlation between weather patterns and the number of the ER visits due to neurological conditions using Péczely classifications: a typification procedure that characterises daily weather patterns. The researchers analysed the medical data of 34,650 patients admitted to the ER with conditions such as stroke or brain haemorrhage between 2015 and 2019, and mathematically modelled relationships between weather types and neurological emergencies. A significant increase in ER visits was found on days classified as Péczely types 4 and 7; weather conditions on these days are typically cloudy, windy, and wet. These findings were published in the journal Heliyon and can be accessed here.
