Simon H House MA holds a Cambridge degree in Natural Sciences and Theology. He has been an active member of The International Society of Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Medicine (ISPPM) for many years, and received their 2008 Elda Scarzella Mazzochi Award. He is Chair of the McCarrison Society for Nutrition and Health and received their 2010 Cleave Award. In 2006 he updated and extended Roy Ridgway's book, The Unborn Child (Ridgway & House 2006) focused on findings of mainstream psychotherapists, with a new section on nutrition from before conception, with emphasis on brain development and mental health.
