Orla Liddy was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at the age of 15 and was successfully treated with steroids until the age of 21. After this time she became increasingly interested in exploring Complementary and Alternative medicine as a way of managing her symptoms, and obtaining a better understanding of her illness.
