As a young mother and non-smoker, Laura Taylor (24) does not fit the model of a traditional mouth cancer patient. Yet, at 23-years-old, this was exactly the situation Laura faced. The mother-of-one, from Redditch in the West Midlands, was diagnosed with mouth cancer after finding unusual lumps in her mouth. Now into remission, Laura is working to raise awareness of the disease and urging everybody ‘if in doubt, get checked out’.
