About Jane Buckle

Jane Buckle PhD RN pioneered the M Technique™, a method of touch for the critically, ill, actively dying or very fragile. It has been used in hospitals in the USA since 1999, and in hospices in the UK since 2004. In 2005, Dr Buckle won a post-doctoral Research Fellowship to attend an Ivy League university in The United States where she researched the physiological effects of the M Technique™ and massage on the brain.

Her two textbooks Clinical Aromatherapy in Nursing and Clinical Aromatherapy: Essential Oils in Practice are required reading on most aromatherapy courses. She is currently Principle Lecturer/Programmes Manager: Complementary Medicine at Thames Valley University, London.
