Clear Mind - Healthy Body

Do you view the glass as half-full or half empty? Many self-help experts will ask this question to an audience they are trying to help find positive thoughts. It is deemed if a person is negative minded they will see the glass as half empty. Positive people will picture it as half full. However, even if we accept the glass is half-full, it may be tainted with toxic fluid. If we exchange the analogy of fluids in a glass with thoughts in the brain, then our vessel (mind) may seem to be thinking positive thoughts, however, unsound conditioning may tarnish them. We may well believe we are positive minded, but too many times, we still allow negative emotions to overcome our bright persona.

Most psychologists declare it is impossible not to become affected by negative emotions. They state it is perfectly normal to feel stress…the best people can do is try to manage their tensions and pressures successfully, so that it does not incapacitate them from leading a healthy happy life.

To a point they may be correct; however, it is a point that need not exist. If we only view life in a three dimensional, physical world then they are correct. However, if we look beyond our physical world and contact a more authentic world, that is the material world with no attachments to it, then it is possible to eliminate stress and negative thoughts. Are you now wondering how you can make negative thoughts evaporate like snow on a hot stove?

In every human mature brain, there are memories of past events that can spark negative sensations. Over many years, reference points are created and evolve into a methodical system that perceives and interprets each event that occurs on a daily basis. Since every person experiences differing events, the images projected will be unique to each person. For instance, the thought of a snake or spider may strike fear in one person’s mind or a loving pet in another. The person who loves snakes may fear heights, while the other person can scale a mountain without any trace of fear. Clearly, there needs to be a cleansing of all perceptions of fear-induced thought to be replaced with a more authentic method to process thought, before any real change can take hold.

Let’s get back to the half full glass. We can make a quantum change in our perceptions very easily by emptying it 100 percent. We need to empty the mind of all thought every night just before we go to sleep. By ridding the brain of all positive and negative thought, we are left with an empty vessel that can gain access to fresh, invigorating, creative thoughts that can bring remarkable results. True absolute thoughts have no attachments to past events that may hold hidden traps disguised as positives. We are set free to explore the pure potential of all possibilities. The effect on our wellbeing is overwhelmingly assured. Here are ten points that will help generate the power of positive thinking.

1.    Choose your experiences of life; do not allow them to choose you. Many events and unforeseen circumstances will come into everyone’s life. They can range from the perfect moments to the most horrendous disastrous moments. Many people’s lives are shaped by their experience; however, it is far better to allow each experience to pass though our lives like ghosts that walk through doors. As long as we don’t hold on to them we can choose to live in a consistent state of delight without any conditions attached;

2.    Love and Joy are your true identity, not your ego. Every person on earth is constructed from a source of intelligent energy that is filled with love and joy in every molecule and atom. To restrict the true flow of energy with thoughts emanating from egotistical sources diminishes the original life forces;

3.    The first action of the day on awakening is a smile;

4.    The second action of the day is to keep the smile until sleep time;

5.    Understand the difference between illusions and reality;
The three dimension world is finite, whereas the infinite world is endless and timeless;

6.    Every day, drink a glass of water each hour (not when eating), deep breathe for at least 20 minutes and clear the mind before going to bed to get a good night’s sleep;

7.    Wherever and whenever possible listen to relaxing music;

8.    Never allow other people to wind you up. That is always your choice;

9.    Understand education is only a tool for learning and not the source of your intelligence;

10.  The power of positive thinking stems from the power of Joy.
Just – Obey – Yourself …The cosmic infinite self that embraces the guidance of universal intelligence from a higher power.
