About Tim Spurgeon
Tim Spurgeon is Advisory Services Manager with Thrive, the national (UK) charity promoting the use of horticulture and gardening for training and employment, therapy and health. Trained as a horticulturist and teacher of adults with learning difficulties, he has worked for 28 years in various therapeutic horticulture settings. He is now responsible for Thrive's services to individual older and disabled gardeners, research in therapeutic horticulture and links with international work.
