Steve Walton MSc FIBMS (retired) worked for 40 years as a Biomedical Scientist in various NHS Haematology Laboratories.  Starting as a junior in Manchester in 1973 and ending as a laboratory manager in Exeter in 2013. While at Liverpool Royal undertook a thesis on adhesion molecules in platelets at Liverpool university for a Master’s degree.
