John Croft HNC/HND LRIC RSNZ is a marine scientist based in Auckland, New Zealand. John has pioneered research into the therapeutic benefits of marine-based products, most notably regarding the New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel. He has been leading research to investigate the use of its extract in sufferers of arthritis (rheumatoid and osteo) and also age related arthroses. He is the author of six books: Life in the Sea, The New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel, Deep Sea Shark Liver Oil, Health from the Sea and Freedom from Disease, Relief from Arthritis, and Arthritis and Aging, recently published, in which he summarizes over 40 years of international therapeutic in the use of a specific formulation of green lipped mussel extract (GLME) in inhibiting and slowing these degenerative processes.
