Carol Rudd MA BFVEA studied and practised Herbalism, Iridology and Polarity Therapy during the 1970s and early 1980s. She then studied Psychotherapy including Gestalt, Core Process, Integrative Psychotherapy, and at University of East Anglia deepened her ability to be a Focusing Companion which she integrated into Flower Essence Therapy. Carol qualified as a flower essence practitioner with Richard Katz and Patricia Kaminski in 1992. She is the author of Illustrated Guide to Flower Essences (Element, 1998) and also (unpublished) a Complete Guide to Flower Essences, descriptions of the signatures and therapeutic use of 360 essences, a comprehensive index of indications and their use in relation to Chinese and Western elemental systems.

Carol is a Committee Member of the British Flower and Vibrational Essences Association (BFVEA) and was editor of the BFVEA e-newsletter for eleven issues. She ran four Flower Essence Practitioner Trainings, the latter two as a tutor member of the British Flower and Vibrational Essences Association (BFVEA).
