About Andy Fagg and Darien Pritchard

Andy Fagg qualified in massage in 1984. Andy's dynamic style of massage and bodywork has been strongly influenced by his studies of such disciplines as T'ai Chi, meditation, 5 Rhythms® dance and Zero Balancing. He has been in private practice since 1986 and in 1989 offered the first professional training course in Bristol. He is the Founder and Director of the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork (0117 966 1008) which offers comprehensive training and supervision at introductory, practitioner and advanced levels. He has a special interest in massage and cancer following 7 years practise and teaching at the Bristol Cancer Help Centre. He also teaches 'Massage as Creative Touch' at the Skyros Centre, Greece, and is a guest tutor at the Royal National College for the Blind, Hereford. Darien Pritchard has been a bodyworker for over 40 years, and a massage trainer for 35. He is presently preparing new editions of two massage textbooks that he authored, and writing a third one. Darien has been pioneer in the UK in focusing on the massage practitioner’s bodyuse as an integral part of massage training, including teaching ‘Hands Free’ Massage (the skilful, sensitive use of the forearms and elbows to save the practitioner’s hands).
