The Power Of Trance

by Dr John Butler HTI Director of Studies PhD (Med Sci., Lond.) MBSH MBPsS MA BA(Hons) BSc(Hons) DHP Dip AT CHT FNRHP

It is ironic how trance is often seen as something alien and strange, when it is in fact a wonderful natural gift, the effect of which is to make our lives easier, to give us mental breaks, to give us the inner space we may need to process overwhelming experiences, to reconcile with aspects of ourselves that are in conflict with other aspects, to gain inner peace, freedom and creativity and, in general, make our lives more fulfilling and successful.

The Power Of Trance

Trance occurs when we withdraw our attention from the myriad incoming stimuli that come to our senses, and instead focus on a selected item of attention.  This occurs to different degrees, such as when we momentarily focus on a task to solve a problem, or when we absorb ourselves in a book or a movie, but when it reaches a certain threshold, when the primary focus is intensely on the inner world, and the outer world is distantly, if hardly at all, present to our attention, then we have that quality which is called trance.

The trance state in itself, what is called ‘neutral trance’, is profoundly restful.  To spend some time – even 5-20 minutes - regularly in trance is very beneficial, physically and mentally.  Taking a break from continuous attention to stimuli sends a message to the brain, that there is not an emergency going on, that things may not be as bad as we may fear.  Cumulatively, this can take our baseline arousal state from high stress/constant vigilance (exhausting and unsustainable over long term), to manageable maintenance.

Add to its natural restful and restorative qualities, that while in trance, our imagination is much more free to respond to ideas, and you have the basis for hypnotic programming – activating the imagination with inspiring images and words that take deeper root than when competing with other stimuli for attention.  Add to that, that in the freedom of the inner space, clarity can be increased, facilitating self-knowledge and resolving inner conflicts and life crises, and we see why trance is such a gift.

I am often asked what is the relationship between meditation and hypnosis, and my answer is that in my experience of them, they access the same inner space, by the same route – the focus of attention.  A key difference is, in my opinion, that hypnosis is much easier, although no less effective for the majority of people.  Meditation techniques were largely developed by and for people in spiritual or religious orders, who devoted many hours and many years to the practice.  Hypnosis has been developed by outstanding researchers and practitioners, for people who are living regular lives.  With hypnosis, the hypnotherapist teaches and guides you to learn the ways of your inner space, and eventually to hypnotize yourself.  The unique qualities of the partnership, between the hypnotherapist and the client, enable a rapid achievement of trance, and an ability to use it to reach your goals.

Auto-Immune Diseases Don’t Exist

There are a variety of auto-immune diseases, according to orthodox medicine, such as: rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis and others. The orthodox view is that, for some unknown reason, the immune system becomes deranged and attacks a part or parts of the body, or else the immune system becomes less active than it should be.

2019 Stephen Macallan Treatments

Let’s carry out a small thought experiment: let us assume that the immune system is always working correctly, is always doing the right stuff to heal, repair and maintain normal health. One day, out of the blue some symptoms develop – some numbness and tingling in the limbs, some pain, some weakness, some fainting or a whole range of symptoms. Off to the medics and some scans, some organ function checks (thyroid, liver and kidney, typically, maybe others), bloodwork: looking for infections, some nutritional factors (not all!). All the investigations get done and there is no real result. The conclusion will likely be, it is an auto-immune issue.

However, let us consider other factors which may be implicated as causative agents in symptom development. I have a patient, as I write, who was on the verge of a multiple sclerosis diagnosis. My Vega-Expert (bio-resonance) testing indicated Lyme’s disease as a possible cause for her symptoms. I have been treating her for Lyme’s with herbs and Rife technology and most symptoms have now faded away – she is nearly all better. I have had an Hashimoto’s case that the testing indicated as a mercury toxicity problem, she had her fillings replaced, spent some time detoxing and achieved restoration of thyroid function. Many years ago I had a patient with a pituitary lactinoma (symptoms of lactation and huge weight gains and losses randomly), 2 years of treatment to no effect until it emerged that she had been raped a few years ago and sexually abused as a child. Working through the emotional distress of that (another year or so) brought about symptom resolution. We never knew what happened to the tumour but with the disappearance of the symptoms, did it matter? I have many other cases I could talk about. So, let me just say this:

There is no such thing as an auto-immune disease. There are only symptom pictures with causes that orthodox medicine does not discover, does not even look for and does not even acknowledge as possible causes of ill-health. A non-comprehensive selection of causes:

  • Emotions;
  • Toxins (a recent estimate is 175 million man-made chemicals in our environment).
  • Toxins such as: mercury (from dental fillings and vaccines), aluminium (from deodorants, cooking implements, foil, vaccines and chemtrails), cadmium (from make-up and sunscreens), barium (Chernobyl, Winscale, Three mile island etc. and chemtrails). Organophosphates (pesticides in the food chain). Multiple toxins in make-up, domestic care and personal care products.
  • Dysbiosis/candida and parasites.
  • GMOs. EMFs. Pharmaceuticals

Bee Pollinators, Vanilla Extract – from Royal Jelly Elixir

Many people are already aware of the benefits of Royal Jelly which include increased energy, vitality, anti-aging properties and assisting our hair and nails to grow and our skin to glow.

A lesser known health benefit in the Royal Jelly Elixir is Vanilla Extract, which in its own right has many properties for our health.

Bee Pollinators, Vanilla Extract – from Royal Jelly Elixir

On a daily basis we probably consume vanilla in various forms without even thinking about it.  Many products such as cereals, cakes, sweets, ice cream, custard, desserts and puddings contain vanilla.

Vanilla beans and extract have highly concentrated and powerful properties of antioxidants. Antioxidants are good for fighting off various viruses, bacteria and diseases detrimental to our health.  Vanilla extract can also contribute to reducing cholesterol levels.

The vanilla bean contains traces of calcium, magnesium, zinc, potassium, and iron.  As well as a range of vitamin B known for reducing stress.

The Royal Jelly Elixir has a double whammy of goodness and health properties for you to try.  Just one teaspoon a day will assist you in your health goals.

While we enjoy the sunshine, spare a thought for our pollinators - bees and butterflies, put water out in a small saucer with some stones in, so they can drink.  Plant flowers and shrubs in your garden or in pots.  Bees love lavender, comfrey, fuchsia and even herbs.  There are many more plants and shrubs, bees like a variety as do butterflies.

Everyone who consumes honey, please wash out your jars and lids thoroughly before putting in the recycling bin.  A bee will collect that honey and take it back to its hive.  Problem is honey may contain traces of viruses harmful to bees (but no humans).  By simply washing out a jar & lid, you don't save one bee but the whole hive containing at least 40,000 bees!

Have a lovely, healthy summer.

BestCare Energy & Vitality - Uberfood™ - Truly a Superfood

BestCare Energy & Vitality trading as PAC Corporate Ltd  launched their Uberfood™ under their key brand MicrOrganics. When one thinks superfood, one thinks horrible taste, right? With Uberfood™ the focus has been to bring the best nutrient spectrum that is palatable without the use of sweeteners, sugars or other unnecessary ingredients.

Uberfood™ is 100% organic and vegan.  It boasts some of nature’s finest sources of plant based protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other micronutrients. The product contains a nutritional blend of no less than 11 key ingredients all carefully balanced for taste and nutrition. Here are some of the key ingredients:

  • Organic Spirulina: It has been suggested Spirulina could overcome the world’s food crisis; it isn’t hard to see why. The nutrient profile of spirulina is something to behold. Despite being tiny little blue-green algae, Spirulina contains between 50- 60% complete and digestible protein. A mere 3 grams of spirulina could provide as much antioxidant nutrients as up to 5 servings of vegetables (but you should still eat your veggies!).
  • Organic Chlorella: Its 58% protein content isn’t the only bonus; Chlorella is also a healthy vegan source of Iron and B12. The mineral content of Chlorella means it can help detoxify the body naturally.
  • Organic Wheatgrass: This gluten-free young grass packs a mineral punch. Alongside magnesium, calcium and selenium, to name a few, it also contains electrolytes and is a great source of antioxidant rich chlorophyll.
  • Organic Barley Grass: Barley Grass is high in iron and protein, is a source of B vitamins and minerals and contains enzymes. As a young grass, barley grass resembles a vegetable in terms of nutritional make up more than a grain. Its ability to absorb nutrients from the soil is at its peak and all the nutrients are stored in the grass as it prepares to grow its grain shoots.
  • Organic Lucuma: This traditional South American fruit has been discovered to be packed full of minerals and vitamins. We use the whole pulp powder, not just the juice powder, to bring you all of its fibrous goodness.
  • Organic Turmeric: Its main active ingredient, Curcumin, is thought to have anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in antioxidants.
  • Organic Goji Berry: Gram for gram this berry contains hundreds of times more vitamin C than oranges. They are also rich in iron and antioxidants compared to other fruits and vegetables.
  • Organic Acai Berry: Nutritionally it has it all; protein, fibre, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
  • Organic Blueberry:  We think Blueberries are great! They are nutrient dense and contain a notable dose of vitamin K and C amongst others. The phytocyanins contained within Blueberries have useful antioxidant properties.

With the new Uberfood™, achieving that balance is simplified and maintained effortlessly. “You can add your Uberfood™ to water, a smoothie, almond milk, juice, anything really, for an amazing balance and achieve a wonderful result,” says Paul Hoole, co-owner of PAC Corporate ltd. “Uberfood™ is so simple to use and will fit in any lifestyle”.

How will the Roll out of 5G technology Affect our Health?

In summary - things are going to get much worse...

In order to transmit the enormous amounts of data required for the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G technology, when fully deployed, will use millimetre waves, which do not transmit easily through solid material. This will mean that base stations are installed every 100 metres[1] in urban areas. Unlike previous generations of wireless technology, in which a single antenna broadcasts over a wide area, 5G base stations and 5G devices will have multiple antennas arranged in “phased arrays” [2],[3] that work together to emit focused, steerable, laser-like beams that track each other.

Each 5G phone will contain dozens of tiny antennas, all working together to track and aim a narrowly focused beam at the nearest cell tower. The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted rules [4] permitting the effective power of those beams to be as much as 20 watts, ten times more powerful than the levels permitted for current phones.

Image credit: Wikimedia / GNU FDL

Each 5G base station will contain hundreds or thousands of antennas aiming multiple laser-like beams simultaneously at all cell phones and user devices in its area. This technology is called “multiple input multiple output” or MIMO. FCC rules permit the effective radiated power of a 5G base station’s beams to be as much as 30,000 watts per 100 MHz of spectrum,[2] - tens to hundreds of times more powerful than the levels permitted for current base stations.

For a full understanding of the effects of 5G as published and endorsed by a global panel of scientists, please read this appeal to the world's governments

Here is a useful link to an article which exposes the lack of transparency in the "research groups" that are relied upon by EU & state governments to determine "safe limits": - which explains why we are all being subjected to this huge experiment with our health without being asked for our consent.

At Energy for Health we have been aware of the risks from EMF radiation for years, but - until now - we have never felt comfortable to endorse or sell any of the "EMF protection" products on the market. But now, having been introduced to products developed by Pranan in Spain - which have a different approach to protection than the many products that claim to shield against EMF's - we are enthusiastically selling Pranan's protection devices, which harmonise the EMF waves instead of attempting to block them.

Heavy Metal Detox with ACZ Nano

Heavy metals are some of the most potent toxins on the planet and the need for our bodies to be detoxed from these harmful metals is more important than ever. The ACZ Nano formula was born out of the need for highly effective detoxification agent to meet a demanding list of criteria. These are:

  • Oral administration;
  • Rapid absorption into the bloodstream;
  • Selectively binds toxic heavy metals and free radicals of all types, such as Mercury and Lead;
  • Irreversibly binds toxic heavy metals and free radicals of all types;
  • Does not bind nutrient metals such as Calcium, Magnesium, etc.;
  • Immediate, profound benefit; Safe for long term use;
  • Backed by independent research.

Kill Time Studies + Provocation Testing

ACZ Nano is a natural volcanic ash that mechanically binds the metals into its cage-like structure. It has been cleaned with a proprietary process 4 times to remove any contamination and independent testing shows it to have below detectable levels any contamination. It has also been pretreated with calcium, magnesium and potassium and will give these important nutrients to the body as part of the detox process. ACZ Nano is the only Zeolite on the market with over 20 independent post provocation studies to prove how effective the ACZ Nano is in increase urinary excretion of heavy metals. In one of the studies the patient saw an immediate 1000-fold increase in excretion in Mercury over 12hrs of taking the spray. There is a problem with agents like DMPS, EDTA, Chlorella and Cilantro in that some of the toxins that are mobilized will then migrate to other parts of the body, which is especially bad news if they migrate and re-deposit to the brain. So one of the big advantages of ACZ Nano over these other chelating agents is that because the toxins are tightly bound to the zeolite cage none of the metals can be deposited in to other parts of the body. ACZ Nano is easy to take, with no taste, just spray a few times into your mouth and hold for 1 minute, it will be quickly absorbed through the oral tissues and get to work reducing the body of its toxic burden.

Results RNA ACS 200 Advanced Cellular Silver

Water for Health Introduce New Superfood Protein Powder

Specialist online health store Water for Health have expanded their range of plant-based protein powders, with the addition of Ground-Based Nutrition’s Superfood Protein.

Water for Health Introduce New Superfood Protein Powder

Superfood Protein is more than just a vegan-friendly protein supplement, however: as well as organic multi-source plant proteins from pea, brown rice, sacha inchi and cranberry, it contains vegetables like organic broccoli and kale, a healthy quantity of fibre and an array of vitamins and minerals.

The powder, which comes in three flavours and also in sachet, bag or tub form, enhances the nutritional profile yet further with the inclusion of healthy fats from coconut and fruit-derived enzymes papain and bromelain. In this respect, it is similar to Maximum Vibrance, Vibrant Health’s dynamic all-in-one formula for which Water for Health is the official UK supplier.

Superfood Protein can be enjoyed as a snack or meal replacement, depending on whether you use one scoop or two. Two scoops gives 20g of clean protein, or around 40% of the daily recommended intake. What’s more, there is no sugar, soy, dairy, gluten or whey.

Add Superfood Protein to water or almond milk for a nutritious boost, or throw a scoop in with your regular green smoothie. A great option for plant-based dieters or even meat-eaters who wish to minimize their intake of whey or up their consumption of greens.

Water for Health Director Roddy MacDonald met the Ground-Based team at the 2019 Natural Products Expo West, the globe’s largest natural products event, and knew straightaway that their ethos matched his own.

“Charles Weller founded the company after growing dissatisfied by many of the products he was coming across as a fitness professional and attorney. Actually, Charles represented several supplement companies in a professional capacity and this gave him a unique perspective on their product lines. He soon realized that many supplements were sold purely on the back of hype, and were not nearly as healthy as they claimed to be.”

Superfood Protein is not the only product Water for Health have elected to import: the others include an organic fermented beets powder, a keto-friendly protein powder, organic plant-based electrolytes and a 100% natural preworkout. MacDonald believes they can support the goals of fitness enthusiasts and, in particular, adherents of the ketogenic diet.

Migra-Cap – Unique Migraine Solution

What is Migraine?

More than just a bad headache, a migraine is in fact a debilitating neurological condition.  As well as the intense throbbing headache, sufferers can experience what is known as Classic or Common Migraine lasting from several hours to several days.

Migra-Cap New Pack

Symptoms can include:

Classic Migraine (with aura)

  • Visual disturbances include blind spots, flashing lights and zig-zag patterns, or confusion, inability to concentrate, problems with co-ordination, or tingling, pins and needles or numbness on the affected side. These symptoms, known as aura are most often identified with Migraine but in fact only about 10-15% of sufferers experience them.

Common Migraine (without aura)

  • Intense throbbing headache, often on one side of the head only
  • Nausea and/or vomiting and/or diarrhoea
  • Increased sensitivity to light, sounds or smells

Who is affected by Migraine?

In theory, anyone can suffer with Migraine.  There are over six million sufferers in the UK alone, approximately 1 in 10 people of which nearly 70% are women.  There is also a genetic link so if one parent is a sufferer there is a 50% chance that a child will inherit the condition.

What causes Migraine?

Studies suggest that Migraine is triggered by the release into the bloodstream of the neurotransmitter serotonin – the chemical messenger in the brain linked to mood, sleep and pain.  This causes changes in the size of the blood vessels and neurotransmitters in the brain leaving to the symptoms mentioned.

Exactly what causes this to happen is still a subject for research and debate, however there are a number of migraine danger points which are likely to trigger an attack in sufferers.

Migraine triggers include:

  • Environmental Factors – Pollution
  • Dietary Factors - Chocolate, Dairy Products, Alcohol, Excess Caffeine, Lack of Food
  • Hormonal Factors – Menstruation, High Blood Pressure, Toothache or Sinus Problems
  • Emotional Factors – Tension, Stress, Anxiety
  • Physical Factors – Travel, Exertion, Lack of Sleep

Developed by a Migraine Sufferer for Migraine Sufferers

The Migra Cap® is unique amongst migraine treatments as it combines cold therapy and complete darkness to provide relief from the pain associated with a migraine and most types of headaches. This 2-in-1 migraine solution is unique for any Migraine treatment product with the added benefit of being a one-off purchase. What’s more, this drug-free product is also ideal for pain relief during pregnancy.

Ayurveda Retreat - Monsoon Season is the Best Time

The monsoon season with its heavy rainfall may not seem like the ideal time to head away on a wellness break, but in actual fact, this is the best time to do an Ayurveda retreat. Ayurveda is India’s ancient form of healing that believes ill health is a result of an imbalance in the body’s internal energies (the doshas) and uses therapies such as panchakarma and a nutritional diet to rebalance them. The benefits of this holistic type of healing are lauded by many, and it is said during the monsoon season that these benefits are greater than ever.

Ayurveda Retreat - Monsoon Season is the Best Time

It's More Relaxing

Most can agree that the pitter patter of the rain has soothing effects, especially when you have no real need to be out and about in it. When you are spending your time trying to unwind and heal, the calming effect of the rain can be especially beneficial. When your mind and body are in a state of relaxation they are much more open to the healing powers of the treatments meaning you will notice greater benefits from them. As the monsoon season also limits what physical activities you can do during the heavy rainfall, you will avoid too much exertion giving your body the chance to rest and feel the full effects of the treatments.

The Body Responds Better to Treatments

The rain and humidity help to open the pores and soften the skin, something that will allow the Ayurveda treatments to have a greater effect on the body. Ayurveda treatments often involve the application of oils and use of steam to flush out toxins within the body and rebalance the doshas, with open pores and softened skin the body is more receptive to these kinds of treatments, allowing them to penetrate better and lift the toxins with greater ease.

The Climate is More Comfortable

The monsoon season brings with it cooler temperatures and less dust than is present in India at other times of the year, making this a generally more comfortable time to visit. Heat and dust can irritate the body and also induce stress – not ideal circumstances when you are trying to rejuvenate, meanwhile the rain refreshes the air resulting in a much more enjoyable stay.

It is usually a lot more affordable too!

You can enjoy the full benefits of Ayurveda at special rates: thanks to special offers available through Healing Holidays, your 14 night Panchakarma at Ananda In The Himalayas will allow you to save nearly £3000, whilst a similar retreat at Vana offers nearly £1,500 of savings.

This book gives practical advice to help the reader achieve a healthier more positive lifestyle. Early reviews have been impressive. For example, Michael James Hatch comments,

“Holistic health for proper geezers and classy ladies is one of the best holistic health I have read. Scott Bryant does great job, explaining about the important of diet, lifestyle, detoxing the body, correct exercise program and goal setting as well the importance for healing mind and body with shamanism. The writing in the book is funny and well written. Scott Bryant sum up each chapter well and don't drag on like some book. He gets to the point, unlike some books I have read in the past that waffle on. If you into holistic health or personal trainer, I highly recommended this book. It is easy to read and understand. I look forward to reading more of Scott Bryant work in the future.

“I found Scott’s website online by randomly searching for “pain + personal trainer” on google and his website came out on the top of the results. I was immediately attracted by the way he set out his training philosophy, and the unanimously positive feedback he received from previous clients. I gave him a ring immediately. Despite being made aware of my limited affordability, he spent 45 minutes with me on the phone asking about and advising on my conditions. I was touched by the genuine care he showed to me as a stranger”

Published in Frontiers in Microbiology, the study reinforces and emerging consensus: artificial sweeteners may be safe when used in moderation by adults, but they are not a ‘magic bullet’ alternative to sugar.
