The expression "Esogetics™" is a combination of "Esoteric" and "Energetics". Esogetics describes not only a certain form of alternative medicine, but is also a world view. Philosophy, traditional knowledge, research and empirical discoveries made Peter Mandel and his team develop a system which contains various diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities such as Energy Emission Analysis (EEA/Kirlian-Photography), Colourpuncture, Esogetic Sound and Colour Sound Therapy as well as treatment with esogetic™ herbal oil, bath and care essences.

EEA/Kirlian Photography

At the beginning of every therapy the Energy Emission Analysis (EEA/Kirlian photography) is used as a diagnostic tool.

At the end of the 1930s, the Soviet electronics engineer, Mr Semjon D. Kirlian and his wife, Valentina, discovered that living objects, who are taken into a high frequency field, send out ciliary crowns into the area of visible light.

In 1973 Peter Mandel began experimenting with Kirlian Photography.

With the help of his brother, who had the technical know-how, the already widespread EEA came into being.

The biggest surface charges of the human being are at the fingertips and toes. Here are also situated the starting and ending points of the classical meridians (energy cycles of the Chinese Acupuncture gauge). Each meridian is related to various organs and parts of the human body. The energy level of the corresponding organs is reflected at the starting and ending points.

Figure 1 shows the ciliary crown of a client. This picture helps describe in brief the main meaning of each fingertip and toe

Index finger Medulla & Thalamus, spine, large intestine
Middle finger Liver – Kidney (limbic system)
Ring finger Hypothalamus – Genitals, coordination system, endocrine system, urogenital area, hormonal relationship
Small finger Heart, lungs/breast area, small intestine
  Feet
Big toe Spleen, Pancreas, liver
2nd toe Stomach, joint degeneration, acids
3rd toe Relay of the immune system, skin degeneration, connected tissue degeneration
4th toe Gallbladder, fatty degeneration
5th toe Kidney/bladder

In the high-frequency field of the EEA apparatus, electrons come out of fingertips and toes increasingly and are accelerated towards the photographic paper. The ciliary crown around each finger is closed in case of an undisturbed energetic flow. There are no gaps or "windows".

However, if there are blockages in the body, the corresponding meridians are sometimes interrupted, or the flow of energy is at least weakened. In such cases there are gaps in the ciliary crown at the referring sectors visible in the EEA picture. Even psychological problems can cause a breakdown of the energetic flow in the meridian system. Then there is a very big loss of radiation in the EEA picture.

The EEA-picture is used

1) as a diagnosis for the cognition of the causes of diseases
2) as an indication of a usable therapy
3) for the observation of physical changes – even for a longer time (e.g. parallel to a therapy process)
4) for immediate confirmation and checking of the effectiveness of therapies

Examination with EEA Photography

The physical energies are already disturbed long before the symptoms of a disease appear. Clinical examination methods would show no result at this early stage, the so-called "incubation". But in the EEA picture, changes are already visible. They can, however, also be measured by other methods, e.g., electroacupuncture, etc. – these being methods with which energetic changes can be measured.

At the beginning of a diagnosis, the therapist has to find out which disease category the client belongs to. Peter Mandel defined three constitution groups, by which all kinds of illnesses can be categorised:

1st group: endocrine emission quality
2nd group: toxic emission quality
3rd group: degenerative emission quality

If the possibly varying energetic field appears irregularly, then the organism belongs to the first – the least ill – group. If the irregularity increases during the years, then the organism passes from the first into the second – the more serious – toxic group or finally gets into the third, degenerative state. The emission qualities of the third group indicate the more serious illnesses.

Endocrine emission quality

The endocrine emission quality points to a weakness of the vegetative nervous system. Among this group are people who are nervous, anxious and also depressive. The clients complain about circulatory disorder, headache, cold feet, sweating hands, digestive problems, etc. The heartbeat is uneven and quicker than usual. In most cases, these people receive the clinical diagnosis "vegetative dystonia".

Treatment:

A treatment of this type can only be successful when two things are considered:

1) Stabilisation of the hormonal and immune system.
2) Treatment of the complaints at the same time.

If only the complaints are treated in such cases, there will be no satisfactory conclusion to the disease and recovery will be short lived.

Toxic emission quality

This type is recognisable by the black spots within the ciliary crown. The gravity of development can be fixed by the intensity of these signs in the complete picture. Also the location of the spots is decisive. Even at this emission type, clinical examination methods often yield no results. The clients, however, complain about permanent problems and are often already heavily restricted in their general capability.

Degenerative emission quality

The state of degenerative emission quality is proved by a massive, concentrated increase of energy in the complete picture and, additionally, by the disappearance and loss of emission luminescence.

There are also different stages of diseases – just as in the other two constitutional types. The phenomena generally indicate diseases of a degenerative kind (e.g. arteriosclerosis, rheumatic changes, gout, organic damage, etc.). The aim of such treatment must be the return of the client into the toxic or even the endocrine stage. Therefore it is necessary to reduce acidity and detoxify the organism and to strengthen the immune system. Regrettably, it is often the case with clients in such stages, that by taking various kinds of allopathic medicine the opposite will be achieved. In this case, measures and remedies should be taken against further degeneration, but for regeneration. This is, however, not valid for medicine such as insulin and heart medication which keep up the organic functions.

Finally, it is remarkable that with the EEA picture the fixing of a present state is possible which shows the direction to move to and thus enables a timely return from previous attitude and life-style.

Colourpuncture

A large part of the healing systems of ancient cultures was based on the realisation that light and colour can heal. The ancient Egyptians in particular are said to have been so advanced that we can hardly imagine the level of their sophistication. Modern light and colour therapy is inseparably linked with the names Rollier and Finsen, who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine for his research in colour light therapy. Isaac Newton (17th century) refracted the rays of white light with the help of a prism, thereby making visible the spectrum of colours contained in light.

It was discovered that each colour of the spectrum has a different vibration or wavelength. The colouring of an object is therefore caused by the fact that its molecular structure allows a certain wavelength to pass through, while others are reflected. It is the reflected part of the white light that we perceive as colour.

It was Goethe who defined the physiological aspects of colour as sensations of the eye. He discovered that the three primary colours red, yellow and blue are the basis of all colours and that all colours can be created by mixing these three. A mixture of equal parts of two primary colours will yield a compound colour of first order (Figure 2).

Each colour provokes a different sensation in humans. Some are perceived as cold, others as warm. The colours which oppose each other in the circle are called complementary colours.

Today we know that there is a direct connection between the vegetative system and the eye and that the vegetative system, the endocrine system and the psyche are related to each other. Because the vegetative system is related to the organs, it can be understood that colour vibrations perceived by the eye will also have an effect on the organs.

The latest biophysical research also confirms that we do not only consist of matter but also as an energy body, which actually consists, up to a certain degree, of visible light.

The discoveries of biophoton research provide the basis for this kind of treatment. Decisively new is the fact that Colourpuncture is based on acupuncture. This therapy is entirely based on regulating disharmonies on an energetic level. Health is, quite simply, the ability of self-regulation.

Peter Mandel would not have guessed the new grounds he broke when he started – many years ago – to occupy himself with the topic "light and colours" more closely and became interested in the origin of light and colours, in the possibilities they offer us and in which way they are able to influence us.

In the beginning it was no more than a fantastic philosophy for him which described light as primary source of life. Then, of course, he did not think at all to connect this medium "light" to therapeutic use.

Yet after many years of theory, he started his practical studies in 1977. At this time it was customary to use lamp treatment on the body over large areas, which was very lengthy and time-consuming and often taxed the patients' patience. While he thought about the long time these treatments took to show positive effects, he suddenly realised that his practical knowledge could be combined with his discoveries regarding light and colours. And so Colourpuncture was born . . .

Figure 3 Treating a client with colourpuncture

Figure 3 Treating a client with colourpuncture

He mainly concentrated himself on Chinese philosophy and acupuncture methods and wanted to find out whether there was a connection between the energetic network of the Chinese meridians and light resp. colour. On the one hand, light was the quintessence of visible energy for human understanding, on the other hand the existence of energetic flows and points has long been known in Chinese Acupuncture. Intuitively he knew: "Light – as referred to by science – must be an adequate medium to these invisible forms of energy!"

So if you wanted to combine light and colours with the energetic flows and points, the consequence had to be: away from the treatment of large body areas towards puncture treatment! This became the basis of a new form of therapy which is nearly fully matured and has become a fixed part of treatment in therapeutic clinics in many countries for almost 20 years, which uses light specifically for the well-being and recovery of the individual.

In practice, holistic diagnosis (e.g. EEA picture) points to the colour therapy applicable. The coordination therapies for the regulation of brain functions – developed by Peter Mandel – are known as basic therapies. As with acupuncture, further treatment consists of the exact localisation of the indicated points and the subsequent radiation with one of the 11 therapy colours. The choice of colour depends on the misregulation or energetic state (Yin or Yang).

Figure 4 Treating a client with colourpuncture

Figure 4 Treating a client with colourpuncture

This means that, if a patient comes to our practise, we first take an EEA photograph. If this photo for instance shows an endocrine quality, we start with the relevant therapy. That means special points which relate to the endocrine system will be treated with colour for about 20 seconds/point. If there is a lymphatic disturbance we additionally treat the lymphatic points in yellow. The points must be exactly located – as in acupuncture. We therefore use a specially developed device which transmits light to the colour filters via glass fibre and the vibration of the given colour can be transferred directly onto the skin of the chosen zones and acupuncture points without piercing the skin (Figures 3 & 4). According to the picture we build up our treatment in colour. After the treatment is completed we do a second EEA photograph as control of our therapy.

Yet colourpuncture goes one step further. All thoughts about which colour refers to each acupuncture point have since been proven outdated. Today we know that every point of the body is relevant for each colour.

By and by, more than 200 different systems in Colourpuncture have been created which affect all individual levels of consciousness – if used in the right way.

A colourpunctural treatment is uniquely different for each individual and can be used together with every other treatment and can aid the following ailments or diseases:

Diseases of the immune system / eye–ear / stomach – intestinal diseases / skin diseases and allergies / Rheumatism / pain therapy / stimulation of the lymphatic system / conflict solving therapy / depression – anxieties / tiredness and exhaustion of children / poor powers of concentration and learning difficulties / pre-natal therapy and many more.

Meaning and Effect of Colours

Within colourpuncture we use 11 different colours:

Red

Red is the colour of fire. It is the colour of the burning, radiant sun, and of life itself. Both love and anger, joy and wrath are associated with this colour. Red is the colour with the greatest power of penetration and it will strongly stimulate the flow of blood. For this reason it is indicated for cases of poor circulation and insufficient blood supply. Red is the colour of the heart, the lungs and the muscles. It is the right colour for the treatment of non-suppurative wounds and inflammations, as well as skin diseases, chronic coughs, asthma, laryngeal complaints, anaemia, weeping eczema and frostbite. It loosens the tongue, has a cheering and exciting effect, is stimulating and arouses passion. Red makes lazy people more active.

Phlegmatic children may be helped by having them do their homework under red light.

Blue

This is the colour of peace and infinity. It is regarded as being a cold colour, and has a relaxing effect. Blue is the colour of the pituitary gland and the endocrine system. All diseases involving heat require treatment with blue light. This colour is also indicated for complaints involving suppuration, pain, plethora and congestion. Blue has an excellent effect on haemorrhoids. Warts disappear under the effect of radiation with blue light and it is indicated for the treatment of strumata, certain heart diseases, sleeplessness and haemorrhage.

Blue affects the testes and is indicated for impotence, frigidity and the menopause. Blue regulates the contraction of the muscles, ligaments and tissues. Hyperactive children should do their homework under blue light. This colour promotes quietness and reserve.

Yellow

Yellow symbolises the sun standing at its zenith, and is one of the hot colours. It promotes digestion, strengthens the nerves, stimulates the stomach and has a brightening and cheering effect in general. It fortifies the endocrine system, makes chronic processes acute and is indicated for diseases of the liver, bladder, kidneys and the stomach.

Yellow promotes learning and comprehension in children and has a favourable influence on the intellect. All diseases of the digestive tract should be treated with the colour yellow. People who are discontent show a change of facial expression when exposed to yellow light.

Green

Green is the most common colour in nature and is regarded as being a neutral factor. It is indicated for bronchial catarrh, whooping cough and inflammations of the joints (in alternation with blue, in the latter case). All chronic diseases respond well to the intermittent use of green light and precision work can be done better under it. Green is indicated for tumours, ulcers and cysts as well as eye diseases and diabetes. It has a balancing effect and will promote feelings of contentment and tranquillity. Green is also sedative, soothing and relaxing in effect.

Orange

Orange is a mixture of red and yellow and is the colour of joy and happiness. It is indicated in cases of discontentment, pessimism, psychosis, depression and fear. Orange should be alternated with blue when treating people suffering from fear, however. All sclerotic processes, such as arteriosclerosis and cerebral and coronary sclerosis respond well to the colour orange. It promotes the appetite and can be used in the treatment of emaciation and anaemia. It is recommended for heart disease in general and cardiac insufficiency in particular. In treating the effects of a heart attack or angina pectoris, however, orange should be alternated with blue, as in the case of fear (see above). Short exposure to orange light in the morning will prove to be of help to people who are chronically tired at this time of day.

Orange will increase a sense of ambition and promote warmheartedness. It has a brightening and cheering effect and will lend strength and joy to people who feel disinclined to work.

Violet

Violet has always been associated with spirituality and in accordance, it acts on the unconscious, lends the individual spiritual strength and promotes awareness and consciousness. Violet increases the effect of all kinds of meditation and is also regarded as being the colour of inspiration. It has a positive effect on the spleen and promotes the functioning of the lymphatic system.

Turquoise Light and Dark

The light and dark nuances of the colour "turquoise" represent the outer and inner coat of the combining, highly transmitting soul. The psychological symptoms, which drive people within subconsciousness into rigidity or stasis, are to be found in the outer coat (dark turquoise). Usually a feeling of relief, pleasure and calmness appears; blissful happiness and contentment, deep breathing and a clear head are described.

Light Green

This colour, which is composed of yellow and green, promotes the intellectual faculties, strengthens the nerves and has a calming and relaxing effect on the body in general. All diseases treated with yellow, such as ailments of the digestive tract, can be done so in a gentler manner if green light is used. I have also discovered that treatments of the upper ends of the kidneys with green or light green will be very successful in detoxifying the body. Light green is indicated for whooping cough, menopause, inflammation of the nerves, paralysis, kidney diseases, diabetes and all diseases of the digestive tract. Light green – being of a higher nature than green – has exchanged the low natural compulsion into a higher nature and put it up into the sphere of spiritual consciousness. In the colour "light green" exists infinite safety and peace. It corresponds to the right side of the body.

Purple

The colour "purple" gives the impression of gravity and dignity as well as graciousness and grace.

The power over thoughts is hidden within. Being the colour of pure humanity and having power over the blood, "purple" means transparency of the highest crystallisation force. "Purple" as a spiritually complementary colour to "light green" is the indicator of the absolute inner being that is linked to the programme of life. Reactions on influences from the outside, which closely agree with the innermost being, occur after using "purple".

Pale Pink

As the 10th colour of colourpuncture, "pale pink" symbolises again the beginning due to its position. It can be useful in finding a new beginning in life. "Pale pink" is related to the spiritual centre. As with all the other colours of the soul-spirit sphere, "pale pink" has no specific indications. The colour "pale pink" possesses a special love for being human and carries the secret of spiritual growth within itself.

Case studies:

Mrs P, 46 years: for 7 yrs she had been suffering from a so-called menopause depression. She had been treated for the previous 4 yrs with medication without success. Her EEA Picture showed an endocrine insufficiency. With Colourpuncture we have sequences available which cover the whole endocrine regulation: hypothalamus and hypophysis, thyroid gland, pancreas as well as the genital zone and adrenal cortex. These sequences are carried out all over the body and are being treated with Colourpuncture. Additionally we did the prenatal therapy as Mrs P was a forceps delivery. The prenatal therapy brought an immediate improvement. She has been treated over a period of 8 months in certain intervals including self-treatments at her home.

Mrs D, 38 years: she had been suffering for a long time from aches in the joints. She has been treated for several years without success and had to take cortisone which she refused to take any longer. The EEA Picture showed an endocrine insufficiency with a tendency to toxicity. It also showed acids and a mother conflict. We put her on a special acid-free diet. Additionally she was treated with special sequences of Colourpuncture against pain of the joints and anxieties.

After the second treatment we talked about her relationship to her mother. She stated that there had always been a lot of misunderstandings between them. There is a special treatment in Colourpuncture referring to the mother conflict. After a few more treatments, she felt free of pain and there has been a general change of attitude towards her mother.

Kirlian photography shows the electromagnetic field surrounding the body. This is usually achieved by placing the finger and toe tips on a photographic unit and the energy emissions from these regions are recorded. As acupuncture points coincide with the energy patterns emanating from the subject, disturbances in the electromagnetic field can be diagnosed and treated.

Colourpuncture is a therapy using coloured light, instead of needles, on the acupuncture points. A Kirlian photograph is first taken to show up any problem areas in the aura, and colour is then used on the relevant acupuncture points to treat the disturbance. After the treatment, a second Kirlian photograph is taken to show the progress made.
