Q : Where will my advert appear?
 
It is dependent on the group box that you click. For example, if you click reiki then click the "To Advertise, Click Here" link your advertisement will appear in the reiki section of ads. Note that you have five different categories to choose from - next to the flags of the UK or USA.
 
 
Q : What are trailing spaces?
 
When writing your advert you may get an error message about trailing spaces. A trailing space is a space at the end of a line. If you hit the Backspace key it will take out the trailing space. If you have left the line of type that has the space, click back into the line of type, hit the End key then the Backspace key.
 
 
Q : Long words
 
If you have a long word at the end of a line of type, say, comprehensive, you might want to enter it as comprehen- sive, or com- prehensive, (leaving a space after the hyphen) depending on the fit. The system does not automatically hyphenate words, it leaves it to the user to decide. Use the PREVIEW button to determine the fit.
 
 
Q : How do I edit (or renew) my ad?
 
Click on the group that contains your advert and then click the "Manage Ad" button near the top of the column. This will bring up a box asking for your email address and password. Once these are entered and you hit the SUBMIT button your ad will appear and you can then either edit or renew.
 
 
Q : Can I change groups or go into another group box?
 
No. If you enter your advert into a group, say, nutrition, you cannot at any time move your advert into another group. You can edit it as often as you wish but it will stay in the nutrition group.
 
 
Q : Can I pay by cheque?
 
You can, but you cannot post an advert if you pay by cheque. The system is set-up to be activated when you go through PayPal. If you want to pay by cheque you should get in touch with us by phone [+44 (0)23 9265 3266] or email [admin@positivehealth.com].
 
 
Q : Do I need a PayPal account to make a payment?
 
No. Simply complete a short form and pay by credit card. We do not have access to your credit card details, it is all done through PayPal.
 
 
Q : What is the "Show Ad" link for?
 
If you have 3 ads in any one group, when you click that group they will appear near the top of the box. If there are more than 3 ads then if you click the "Show Ad" link it will open a box to the side and this will display all of the ads in the group. You will also see the 3 ads within the column rotate, that is, they will refresh every 7 seconds so that all of the ads will appear in a random selection.
 
 
Q : In PayPal it mentions the vendor as CompassInternet!
 
We own Compass Internet Limited and we use an existing PayPal account for all our transactions rather than open up different accounts. Positive Health payments are made into Compass Internet Ltd but this has no effect whatsoever for anyone placing an advert here on the positivehealth.com site. Your place on the site is safe and secure.
 
 
Q : How do I choose the right category in which to advertise?
 
We have five categories and it might be that you could be in several different categories, that's why it is so inexpensive. It gives you the chance to reach a wider range of people. For example: A massage therapist could be in Therapists/massage; if they run a course they could also be in Courses/massage; if they have a book to sell then Products/books; if they specialize in back problems then Illnesses/backache and finally if they are attending an exhibition they might want to promote themselves as Events/workshop. There are lots of options to choose from and they can always go into the ad and makes changes as needed.
 
 
Q : What is the cost of placing an advert?
 
All adverts are priced at £2 or $4 per week. You can place an advert for either 26 weeks or 52 weeks. The exceptions to this are in Courses and Events which have an additional 13 week period. Once placed an advert can be edited online by its owner, as frequently as desired, however, you cannot change a category or a group. (A category is one of the five choices next to the flags; a group is one of the many named boxes within a category.)
 
 
Q : How does the Events category work?
 
All of the groups with the other categories are arranged in alphabetical order. Events, however, as the name implies are things that happen mostly on a specified date. Groups within the Events section are entered as we receive them and not in alphabetical order. If you would like a specific group heading let us know and we can create it for you.
