Greetings from Provence!

It's Rhiannon here with news of a very special programme taking place in France this summer! I do hope you will join us for this unique plant adventure!

I am excited and honoured to be welcoming professional forager Robin Harford and herbalist Vivienne Campbell to lead an 8 day, 7 night retreat called Reconnecting to Plants: A wild food, in the heart of Provence the 6th to the 13th June 2017.

This all inclusive residential retreat is limited to just 20 participants and will be a journey of discovery and reconnection to plants and to yourself. It will be a deep exploration into what it means to be in right relationship with the natural world.
In a culture of hustle-and-bustle, it's important to stop occasionally and retreat for a while, to find peaceful sanctuary. This is what the retreat is all about.

We have put together a remarkable week of deep connections woven with visits to markets, botanic gardens, wholesome food and quality time in remarkable places.

There are no qualifications, no exams, no botany knowledge or PhD required to come along. All that is required is a love of plants and nature. In fact, why not come along with your partner?

The retreat is being held at the glorious garden sanctuary of Orto de Prouveno, in an outstanding area of natural beauty.

All meals are included: organic, locally sourced and vegetarian. Your accommodation is in beautiful twin bedded rooms at the retreat centre (a few single rooms are also available).

Both Robin and Vivienne are excellent plant guides and retreat leaders. I have the pleasure of introducing them to you!

Robin Harford is a professional forager, contemplative and self-taught ethnobotanist. He harvests wild edible plants on a daily basis and is creator of the UK’s leading wild food site Eatweeds.co.uk. In the last few years he has been offering his highly acclaimed ’Contemplating Plants’ retreats. These teach people how to deeply reconnect back to nature through the body and the senses.

Vivienne Campbell is an experienced medical herbalist living in Ireland where she runs a successful clinic as well as leading popular herbal medicine classes. Vivienne is a passionate environmentalist and dedicated to showing people the wonderful therapeutic and edible plants that grow all around them. She teaches worldwide via her online course at Theherbalhub.com.
