Cranioal Sacral Alliance

Making Craniosacral Therapy Mainstream

The Craniosacral Therapy Alliance (CST Alliance) was developed in 2009 to provide craniosacral therapy education and training. We are a group of teacher therapists who realized that students and therapists at the local level were looking for help in refining their skills, seeking answers to their treatment questions and searching for support with clinical considerations. We could see a real need for opportunities to study, trade sessions, teach and work together to share new and current craniosacral therapy (CST) experiences.

CST Alliance is a continuing education provider with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) #451232-10 and awards CEUs for all CSTA Curriculum classes.

We believe by teaching small groups of practitioners in local areas we can increase the availability of CST to the general public, as well as increase interest in CST instruction to a wider variety of practitioner. In this way we can all help heal each other in this troubled world.

The classes offered at CST Alliance are new and original but based on the traditional teachings of William G. Sutherland, D.O., and John E. Upledger, D.O., O.M.M. For all of us, John Upledger was our direct teacher. Our classes combine new anatomical study and theory moving forward principles taught by Sutherland and Upledger and their teachers, A.T. Still and Emmanuel Swedenborg.

The Craniosacral Therapy Alliance is proud and honored to offer the CADD Class (Craniosacral Therapy Around Death and Dying) twice this year:

30 July-2 August 2016: Isle of Shoals, Rye, New Hampshire, USA

3-6 November 2016: Moggerhanger Park, Bedfordshire, UK

This is an opportunity to move your CST practice forward in new and exciting directions:

Witness the deepest forms of craniosacral rhythm;

Learn about your innermost feelings around loss;

Understand pain, suffering and find compassionate ways to be of service;

Find pathways to hope and recovery for those in distress and grief;

Cope with the fractious worldview and the politics of change;

Hold Space for those actively dropping their bodies;

Give yourself four days of body awareness and self-reflection;

Gather around those using CST to make the world a touch better and;

Learn not to take life quite so seriously.

"And the day came when the desire to remain the same became more painful than the risk to evolve."

This four-day class will change the way you look at life, treat others and live the rest of your days. It is an SER-level class for CST practitioners to learn how to support patients as they navigate life's losses, including the biological process of loss and death.
