Vertical Reflexology, or Vertical Reflex Therapy (VRT) was developed by Lynne Booth six years ago when working with chronically ill residents at the St Monica Trust nursing home in Bristol. She found that VRT, which focuses on working the weight-bearing dorsal reflexes on the top of the foot, was particularly suitable for elderly people who had orthopaedic problems or were wheelchair-bound.
