Energizing your Life with your Values by Michelle Maxwell Those special moments you remember and enjoy are the first clues to discovering what is important to you in your life what your true values are. In this sense, values are not about moral standards but much more about what motivates, fulfils and nurtures your wellbeing. An Ancient Remedy for Children with Nephrotic Syndrome by Yao Jie Blair To make it easy to understand, it occurs when the kidneys leak large amounts of protein (mostly albumin) into the urine. Protein lost in the urine results in a lower level of proteins in the blood. It is these proteins in the blood which help to hold water within the blood vessels. When the protein level is very low, water passes into the tissues and this is recognised as swelling (oedema). Tai Chi Relieving a Painful Shoulder Injury by Leslie Morris Someone once told me that Tai Chi was very good for relieving painful joints and for general health, but I was only tempted into practising it as a last resort. An Holistic Approach to Immune-Related Illnesses by Dr Simon Hincks I hit upon using the NLP model of Neuro-Logical levels. This model was outlined by one of NLPs leading developers, Robert Dilts. It suggests a way of thinking about the way in which people act, and I have found it very useful, particularly when thinking about health, both on an individual and on an organisational level. Processes of change and healing involve the interaction of these different levels of experience, and I have found it a useful way of mapping out an holistic approach to health. Work and Leisure without Backache by Joël Carbonnel Misuse is the primary cause of backache, and it doesnt go away as long as we dont earnestly tackle this problem of use. The first prerequisite to work and play without backache is to master the way we use ourselves. Breema® Essence of Harmonious Life by Jon Schreiber Breema is starting to be taught and practised in many different places. Through deep receptivity to the body, and a rhythmic connection to the Earth, Breema can help us become available to the instinctive wisdom of the body. By allowing that wisdom to participate with us in our daily lives, we can experience bountiful health and vitality. |
