Vibrational Healing Harmonising by Rosemary Angelis The premise of Vibrational Healing is that everything vibrates on a certain frequency. All objects, even wooden tables, are made up of molecules which vibrate to create their mass. Colour is also simply a vibration of light refracted in different ways. Sound is a vibration that travels through the air in waves. Crystals have been monitored and shown to give off vibrations and create a pulse which can be used in clocks and electrical equipment. Hair Mineral Analysis by Lawrence Wilson, MD What is the best way to measure minerals in the body? Doctors often use blood tests. However, blood mineral levels are kept within a very tight range, even in many illnesses. An alternative is to measure minerals directly in the body tissues or cells. The cells, not the blood or urine, are the main site of metabolism. Mineral levels are higher in the cells than in the blood, making measurement easier. Toxic minerals concentrate in the tissues, but are quickly removed from the blood. A body tissue that is painless to sample, and easy to store and transport, is the hair. Mercury-Free Dentistry A Passport to Better Health by Dr Graeme Munro-Hall and Dr Lilian Munro-Hall We are dentists. Definitely not normal dentists. We realised over ten years ago that mercury from amalgam fillings could injure patients, so we became Mercury Free. Now we are of the opinion that all metals have the possibility to injure patients, so now we are Metal Free as well. We use an American formaldehyde free composite and porcelain instead. A Better Approach to Complementary Therapy by Thea Bailey I suspect that all Complementary Therapists (CT) would agree that, no matter which technique, map or energy system is being used, amongst the myriad therapies on offer today, all would see themselves as dealing with the whole person. That is, reconnecting the body-mind-spirit harmony to again access its own powerful capacity to heal itself, supporting the homeostatic state of balance. |

Neurostructural Integration Technique® (Advanced Bowen Therapy) by Michael J Nixon-Livy The Neurostructural Integration Technique® (NST) is an extremely powerful multidimensional technique, which has been specifically developed for the ongoing dynamic integration of the structure and viscera via stimulation of the central, peripheral autonomic nervous systems. The main objective is to remove pain and dysfunctional physiological conditions by restoring the structural integrity of the body. Biosynthesis A Body Psychotherapy by Yig Labworth Biosynthesis is a body-psychotherapy developed by David Boadella in the early 1970s. His approach grew out of many years experience with Reichian therapy. Wilhelm Reich (1897-1957) was a doctor and psychoanalyst who worked with Freud in Vienna in the 1920s. Some years later in Scandinavia, he developed his method of vegetotherapy which involved direct work on the body to release emotional and muscular blockages and to recover a sense of pulsation and streaming in the body. He developed this work from 1933 onwards. Phytobiophysics A New Philosophy by Diana Mossop Phytobiophysics is a new and relevant scientific approach to the problems of mankind that incorporates modern knowledge, traditional therapies and ancient wisdom. Above all it is a means of accurately assessing causal factors of disease. The word Phytobiophysics simply means the science of plant energy and the definition of this philosophy is the use of the infinite energy of plants to restore balance and harmony to people of the world on all levels of consciousness. Spiritual, Mental, Emotional and Physical. The Maperton Trust Evolutionary Journey by Gordon Smith In relation to health the concept of holism requires one to take into account not only the symptoms expressed by the individual but the affect on the individual of his whole life situation at home, at work, his recreational interests, community relationships, his understanding of his culture and background and the understanding of the meaning of illness. |
